Feedback on this Auto Door Opener

I'm am looking at this auto door opener http://chickendoors.com/p1.htm

1. it opens to the side
2. there aren't any sides for a coon to grab nor can it be slid upwards
3. it's simply programmable.
4. runs on battery and/or solar

Anyone use one of these? I'd appreciate any feedback before I invest the $$.
