Hi all,
Looking for suggestions for ways to keep feeders and waterers in a 3x3 foot dog pen for 6 crazy pullets that are 5 weeks old and can't go out until they can be acclimated with other flock.

I used to put the babies in a medium wire dog Kennel and I could hang my feeder and waterer in it. The pen I have now is fabric and has nowhere to hang these items and the pullets knock both over almost every day.

Are there any tricks you can share?
Would you recommend me splitting up the group if I plan on integrating a few to the existing flock earlier than others?

Thank you for your suggestions!

I'd actually start integrating them now, they're getting to the age where they need more room than a crate. Trust me, I was there with my 7 lol

As for how I managed with a fabric dog crate, I like those trough style feeders, sure, they don't hold as much but less gets wasted. As for the water, set it on a can or brick or something like that. They also make waterers with adjustable legs, that might also help

Thank you. So as for the larger chickens, when do you think I can throw them in the coop with the others? They are Bielefelders. I have 4 hens, 3 are the size of Polish chickens, 1 rooster, and a hen that is an Orpington mix.
I will see if I can find the trough style feeder 😎 I used to have one and I misplaced it!

I would set their crate in there and start see but no touch tomorrow. Do see but no touch for a week or 2 and then if all goes well, let them start mingling in the day
