Feeding 5 week olds

Do they still get free choice , mine seem to bury there feed and I have to dump it out and give them fresh , they then act like they havnt eaten in a week for about 15 min then forget about it and when I go back in they bury it again ?

I have the same problem!!!! Mine are 5 weeks too. I raised the feeder off the wood shavings about 5 inches. This saves the feed from getting ifull of shavings. I have one of the long feeders....I just refill it when it looks low...But they act like they haven't eaten in days!!! It actually is kinda funny to watch....I usually fill the waterer at least 3 times a day....
