what if I just add a separation panel in the middle of the coop/brooder with wire for the winter and have two lamps, one for each side and separate them but still housed in the same (NOT IN MY HOUSE over winter?) wondering how big/old chickens and ducks have to be to go outside in the winter run?? we are in PA
This is the pallet coop (one finished and 2nd will be done this weekend) this one is 8 foot long
I have 10 Blue Partridge Brahma chicks for one side and want 2~3 Ducklings in the other side (STILL Havent gotten any ducklings (guy sold them out from under me uggg)
Heat lamps in the new coop though....
