feeding an adult emu

hey everybody i just adopted an emu from a local animal shelter and its full grown i heard on a site that if i cant find feed specific for emus i can just feed them flock raiser but my main question is should it be freechoice feed or should i feed them a few times a day any help would be appreciated.

any quality non-medicated poultry grower/finisher pellet free choice is fine for adult emu.

you're welcome and good luck with him. i had one for 16 yrs before i had to put him down back in the mid 80s,

i had him shoulder mounted so he's still here with me.
