Feeding baby chicks boiled eggs

Just wondering if the whole egg is okay to give the chicks or just the yoke?

I started giving a boiled egg yoke when my chicks were a week old. giving them one egg yoke per week. Now ( 6 weeks old tomorrow) I'm giving them the whole egg (hardboiled) , mashed up. I don't see any problem giving them the whole egg from the beginning. They really love it.
Started them on grit last week so I could expand their diet of treats.
They don't care for bananas unless oats (quaker oats) are sprinkled on top. gave them a mashed up plumb this week, they seemed to like it ok. tried some cooked green beans,,, didn't like them.
top of their list is egg, followed by toasted or rolled oats.

I always give my chicks smashed up boiled eggs...they go crazy for them. I gave my babies one boiled egg every day to share bewteen ten...they would rush the container before I could put it on the ground.
