yes,don't give them the buttercups, those are poisonous ... dandelions, sow thistle,
mustards and radish greens, purslane, chick weed, all those are good.

Every time I weed the garden I lay the weeds along the garden fence. The birds reach through and gobble up the weeds. Works great.

The garden is fenced with 2 X 4 welded wire.

Whenever I pull a few weeds, I pile them along the fence. The girls eat them up right through the fence.
