Feeding dead mice to chickens

I doubt it would be harmful, but if the mice died from rat poison, most of it is a secondary poison. T hat means that an animal that eats a poisoned dead animal could itself be poisoned. It depends on how much poison was transferred. I lost a small puppy this way.
 
my general rule of thumb is that if I didn’t watch it die, I wouldn’t let my pets eat it. When my chickens chased and ate a live mouse, I didn’t interfere, but when I found a dead rat in the basement, I took it in the woods and buried it deep. And if anything looks sickly, I make sure it doesn’t get eaten. Sorry about your puppy :hugs
 
I err on the side of caution, I try not to let my animals eat rodents in general. I worry that the one the cat/chickens/dog caught was for some reason easy to catch, lethargic perhaps, maybe ill or poisoned in some way. The fact is, we just don't know, and it's up to you how big/realistic a concern it is.
