Feeding dried mealworms to young hens

I was wondering if it's okay to feed dried mealworms to my 7 and 8 week old hens? Thank you!

I fed them to mine while they were outside in an enclosed pen...I live in Florida so they were able to eat grit with them...not sure what more experienced people will say. Think of it like this if you need teeth to chew it chickens need grit to chew it.

Yes it's fine, and yes I'd make sure they had a suitable size grit available, whether it's purchased or present in your own soil/yard.
