Hi everyone!

Yesterday we had a great day of snagging Kokanee salmon (legal in my area) and brought home 29 of the things. When cleaning them, we snipped off the pectal and pelvic fins to save for the dog because she loves fish fins, so we figured while we were at it we might as well save the guts and roe for our 5 Khaki Campbells. Just wondering what if any experience you all have had giving your ducks this type of treat? My only real concern is that the gills have some pretty hard, small bones that could maybe be bad for them. Should I try to sift them out?

I once dumped a kiddy pool full of minnows, and the ducks gorged themselves! If the bony gill plate worries you, you can always just cut those out.

I would regularly feed the ducks rabbit guts when I would cull, and fish is a heck of a lot more of a natural food for them.
