Is it a good idea to leave duck food out for free choice 24/7?

I do! I'm not sure if youre supposed to, but I pour out a lot and she usually eats it all in two or three days.

Do some people only feed ducks twice a day, without having a free choice source of food? I just assumed that they have food 24/7 like chickens.

Mine have feed and water 24/7 in the winter if I need to keep them locked into Coops in freezing cold weather.
In the spring/summer/fall they go to bed with no feed or water and let out each morning and eat till bedtime..
