Feeding egg shells

I have 2 hard boiled eggs every day during the week. I started to save the shells my question is can I feed them back as is? I already crushed them by hand so the size is pretty small. Any reason they would need to be cooked?

You just nees to crush them and feed them straight back. Your birds should love them!

Yes, it is okay to feed then hard boiled egg shells. My chickens love them. And they are high in calcium. The actual egg is high in protein.
