Feeding flock, do I just keep the feeder full?

Hi, I ll be getting about twelve birds, I have a decent size auto feeder ( It says it ll feed like 75 Birds),should I just keep it filled and they will eat what they need or should I feed them a certain amount? If so how many times a day?

Do you have a picture of the type of feeder? If the grain is protected by the structure you should be able to fill it up and leave it for the chickens. If it is exposed I wouldn't, you would begin to attract rodents.

Keep it full all the time and they will eat what they need

The top is open I have one of the Glavanized round type, it looks the same as my Water bowl.
