feeding flock rasier to hens?

For Colorado's changing climate and my breeding regime, I feed like this. In the winter, spring & fall, Manna Pro Gamebird/Showbird starter to everyone. I found that the silkies needed this high protein for egg laying and chick vitality. After putting the silkies on it, fertility picked up as well as healthier chicks. The silkies have stayed on Manna pro even through summer as I hope to hatch all I can. The cochins & 3-4 layer hens move to a lower protein Purina Flock Raiser in the summer. All juveniles stay on the Manna Pro until old enough to hang with the adults. All chicks are on Manna Pro's medicated chick starter for a couple months till going to Gambird/Showbd starter.
My first couple years with poultry I fed Flockraiser and I don't think it did any favors to the breeding birds. Now I can really feel that a bird has some cushioning on her keel bone, their feathers all look good and have had a higher hatching/survival rate in chicks.

Does Flock Raiser have pellets in it? I'd consider buying it for my silkie flock but they don't like pelleted food.
