In the Brooder
Sorry if this has been asked and answered before. I'm. NEw to the site and new to chickens.
I have two groups of chickens first group is about 2 months old, second group will be a month old tomorrow.
I have the babies on chick starter feed now and the older guys on grower feed.
I know at 18 weeks u can start using layer feed and scratch, will it hurt the younger group of they start on it early or would it be better to keep the older ones on grower feed u too the younger batch is old enough for layer feed?
Right now I have both groups separate but when the lil ones are older (about a month more) I want to try to get them all together, so they will all be in the coop then. Right now the lil guys are inside at night and in a protected caged area during the day (when I'm
Home)
