Hi - Just got 3 delightful hens last month and am in learning process. How often do you feed greens and what do you find they like best -- thnx

I didn't feed mine greens until I read an article by @mymilliefleur . It's on her profile page. You should defiantly read it, it's very helpful.
Hope this helps!

Welcome to BYC! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

Greens can be fed anytime and as often as you wish since this is a natural food that chickens need. Grass is especially good for chickens. In fact grass meets all a chicken's protein needs in the form of amino acids.Ryegrass, for example, has a 11-16% protein contact which makes it an excellent food choice for chickens in need of protein.

Chickens can eat most greens. Lettuce, spinach, etc. Definitely look into the link provided by Kelsie. Here are two articles I wrote about grass and plants for chickens. Hope they help.
