I have two chicks who are with the flock with their mother. In about a month the chicks will need to go on growers pellets, Is it ok to feed the whole flock it? They have ALL time access to free range.

Yes. Some with mixed age flocks feed only that. With a calcium supplement available.

Yes. I was giving everyone flock raiser and oystershell on the side for the layers to take what they liked. Now I have a couple pens, but everyone in with my chicks gets grower and I have oystershell available for those laying eggs.

I would just take a quick look on the bag of the pullet mix and make sure there is no "egg withholding" period mentioned. I only suggest this as the bag I was given had it on there, mind you the guy who sold it to me never mentioned anything about it and I have since checked the companies website and found there are 2 types of pullet feed, only one mentioned the egg withholding period. I had 1 hen laying eggs but couldn't use them as she had been eating the pullets food

ok, so it will be fine as long as i make sure they have a supply of oyster shells when ever they want them?
