Feeding my chickens???

I have a few questions about the feeding my chickens... First, I have 12 pullets and a roo. Ten of them are 23 weeks old and the others are 19weeks old. They are all standard BO, BR, RIR, Ameraucanas and EE. It took them about a week and a half to eat all the beautiful grass in their run. They are given laying pellets 24/7, fresh water twice a day (more when the temps are 90*+ ). Today, I added butternut squash, fresh corn, tomatoes and a 1/4 of a green cabbage to their large suet feeders. Mid day, I took them a container of cottage cheese and throw a premium birdseed--which contains whole and shelled sunflower seeds, peanuts, pecans pcs, millet, etc.... into the run and placed fresh hay on top so they have something to 'look' for. Three times a week they get two 'tubes' of crickets and at least twice a week they get fresh cut grass.....

So my question is: Am I giving them enough extras to replace what they could be getting while free rangeing??? If not, what should I be doing different?

Even though they are not laying yet, they have a feeder of oyster shells and I put small shovels of gravel into the run daily

Thank you for any and all suggestions/ideas/help..Dixie

I hope they are well fed but do they need something I am not providing? Or will this routine keep them happy and healthy? I have already decided to cover half the run, with some clear roofing panels, so that they have more space that's dry and accessible in bad/wet weather...Thanks..

You caused me a lot of trouble! My chickens read this and now they are on strike! They want to know if you will adopt them.
