We have a barred rock, dominique, and a few buff rocks who we think are roos. Was wondering if I could get grass, worms, crickets, and etc and chope finely up or make into a shake to add to their feed? Are those things too rich for everyday use/etc?

I don't know if it is necessary to chop them up. I'm sure that chick football is just as entertaining as chicken football. There are people on BYC that raise meal worms to feed their birds, that may be a source of protein you can raise cheaply and organically to feed your chicks.
