Feeding parrot mix to chickens

Is there any problem with me letting the chickens eat the leftover parrot mix? My African Gray parrot is very picky and leaves a lot of seeds behind. Its not the seeds I am concerned about as much as the pieces that look like Lucky Charms cereal (without the sugar). Might they be coated with someting I should be concerned about?

If it won't hurt a parrot, it won't hurt a chicken. Just make sure the chickens have grit.

I feed mine wild bird seed about once a week. They love it and no issues so far. They have been getting it as a treat for over a month now.
