Feeding popcorn?

The popcorn to use is not the seasoned expanding bags, that has too much salt on it. The unseasoned bagged or jarred is what you can use. If you have a microwave bowl, you can use to pop it in a microwave. A loose lid on the bowel to contain the popcorn would be a good idea.

X2 salt is not good for them or you for that matter...
 
I work at a stadium and occasionally get large bags of popcorn for free. But it is the buttered/salted kind. If I only give it to the girls once in a while, is the salt okay?
 
should the corn be popped or not... I just bought a bag of microwave popcorn thinking they would love it, but not sure now.. anyone else feed theirs micro popcorn??

I'll cancel this thread then... I should have read the whole thread (thought I had but hadn't) I'm still new to backyard chickens.
