Our flock of buff orpington's are almost 17 weeks old and our first experience with chicks. We have approximately 19 cockerels of which we'll keep one rooster and 12 pullets. As they are all in the coop and run together they all eat the same feed. It will still be a while before the pullets are ready to start laying. It will also be a few weeks before we start butchering the cockerels. What should I be feeding them during this last month to 6 weeks? Thanks so much for the advice!

Keep them on whatever food you currently use. Likely a starter or grower. No need to change anything until laying starts. At which point you’ll decide to feed layer or an “all flock” and oyster shell combo.
That's what I had been thinking but there are so many conflicting articles out there that it gets very confusing. All I want is what is best for my flock. Thanks for your help!
