Feeding the Chickens

Simple question. Do I have to have food in both the coop and the chicken run? What do I do?

You don't need food and water in both. I only keep my food and water inside their coop. I only keep it in there so when it rains the feed doesn't get ruined. Some people like to keep it outside so that the chickens spend most of their time outside. Others keep food both inside and outside. It all depends on what works best for you and what you want.

Ditto that. You want to protect the feed from the elements. Chickens don't eat at night . They will be perfectly happy gobbling food all day so do what is easiest for you.

it really depends if the food is out side you have to move it in the coop at night and protect it when it rains etc, so how ever much work you want to do its up to you.
