I feed my geese and ducks a mx of turkey and game grower and scratch. The baby geese free range all day on around 3 acres. The babies are starting to show signs of angel wing. I've never had this happen with my ducks. What can I feed them? Do I take them totally off of any supplemental feeding and just let them eat grass? They must really pork out on the stuff at night to be having this problem. They are being raised by their parents, not brooded.

It is caused from too much protein in the diet. I would take them off the turkey feed which if I remember correctly is very high protein and put them strictly on grass.

You may need to wrap their wings too for a week or so.

Thanks for replying. Thats kind of what I thought I'd have to do. But wanted to make sure that just grass would be enough. So today i make enemies with my geese by fencing them into a different pasture with no feed. Don't think I'll be able to wrap wings though. Parents would beat me toa bloody pulp if I tried to catch one of their babies.LOL
