Feeding wild birds

Once A pair of crows were fighting over something and half a corn dog falls out of the sky and lands next to the truck. Yeah, I don't feed the wild birds here, they seem to find plenty. LOL

I'd rather not attract wild birds near my flock too since they can carry pathogens and things like feather lice.

Bantamfan, you get some nice birds!
My husband has a fan club made up of scrub jays, mockingbirds, a house wren and a yellow-rumped warbler he calls "Feckless."
He feeds them meal worms: they will come right down and land on his hand. He also feeds the jays peanuts, and there is a wild seed feeder for the doves and sparrows and a niger seed feeder for the goldfinches and the house finches.
My favorite local wild bird is "Larry," a escaped white Goffin's Corella (looks like a cockatoo) who flocks with the local crows. Larry has lived in our neighborhood for over 20 years. He's a vicious bird, hates people, and he thinks he's king of the crows. I plant sunflowers for him.
