Feeding Wild Birds

The Pileated are very common here, a nuisance at times when they peck on your house.
Or decide they'd rather have the sunflower seeds on your window.

Here, he was eating suet, but appears to want the seeds that the chickadee has.

We don't see them often though, just a couple times per year.
 
There's plenty of piliated woodpeckers here but I rarely get to see them. It's my dream to look outside and see one at my feeders! They're so big and beautiful!

I need to get a new bag of BOSS for my feeders. I had a suets out there, 3 different flavors. I've found that they love the peanut flavored the best so I might stay only getting that from now on.
