I had a few of these at the feeder years ago. Unfortunately, Blue Jays, doves and squirrels have chased all the pretty birds away. We used to get quite a variety. Sad to lose them, but I do enjoy my regulars too. Except the pigeons...they can get on with their migration any time now as far as I'm concerned.Western Tanager

My Scrub and Pinyon Jays didn't stand a chance at the suet cage with 15 to 20 Western Tanagers fighting and brawling all day long. Now that the Tanagers are headed up to @R2elk s place, the Jays and Black-headed Grosbeaks are finally able to feed. I love my Jays.I had a few of these at the feeder years ago.
