No way. Bird seed is not appropriate feed for poults. Way too low in protein and too high in fat.

I love feeding the wild turkeys. It's a rare day they stop by here lately, so an occasional bird seed treat is fun for me and them. I wish they would hang around the yard more, they sometimes dust bathe here too, I just adorable them.

Now I would love to see a little poult dust bathe! That’s too cute!! I’m waiting to see poults around here, but no luck yet!

Hen turkey here still has four poults. They are now about bantam sized. Checked the Phoebe nest today. Only one hatchling. Wonder if the cowbird sneaked back and reparasitized the nest?
