I think the cardinals have increased in numbers, my safflower seed feeder was low this afternoon. All feeders topped up before dark.

I'm seeing a few more birds - chickadees , but no cardinals.

#1 flock came around 3 PM - I hurried out and scattered feed. #2 flock showed up around 4:30 with a pleasant surprise. The bearded hen has joined with them. It's the first I have seen her since this spring. Each flock is now comprised of 11 birds. The very dominant hen of flock #2 seems very accepting of the bearded hen.
