Feeding worms to your chickens?

I think you also have to take into account that whether you feed them to your chickens or not they will probably come across at least one in their lifetime and instinct will have them devouring it seconds flat so either way....chickens will eat worms.

This flock of chickens that I have will not eat a worm. I throw one in the pen and they just look at it and walk away. Growing up, all of our chickens would eat worms. Now if you throw a grub in the pen, it's a race to see who gets it.

My chickens love them, but I try to get them before the birds and get them into my compost first!
