Is it safe to feed your Chicken's food scraps?

I do. I feed just about every food waste to the chickens bypassing the garbage can.

I do. I make them scrambled eggs and cheese in the morning and they eat what we eat for dinner - minus anything they cannot eat. I do not give them anything I would not eat and of course nothing greasy, too fatty, or plain old junk food. They get things like finely chopped beef, peas, brown rice, fruit.
