Feeding your chikens.

I do, however I can't see that they eat any of it. Once they put themselves to bed on the roost that's it til morning. That said, with them having access to food and water in the coop I don't have to worry about racing out to them first thing in the morning. When we finally get rid of wintery weather I'll probably just keep the door between the coop and run open and put food in the run which should keep the coop and the food cleaner. (My newbie ideas.)

I am new at this chicken keeping too.....I do bring in the feed at night as we have racoons, bears, skunks......I don't want to give the wild animals any extra encouragement to try and get into our coop and henhouse! ~Beulah
