Dec 3, 2009 #5 quailbrain Songster 10 Years Mar 26, 2009 698 12 139 Oregon You can use the chick starter if game bird or turkey starter is not available but quail need higher proteins. You would have to add a ground up quality dry cat food to supplement the protein.
