i got 4 rocks the week after Easter along with 2 Peking ducklings. things are going well so far, but don't really know how many times per day to feed. I have been feeding 3 x per day and fresh water 2x daily. I bought the chick starter when I got them, and the ducks eat this as well. anything else I should be adding to their diet? have tossed a few veggies from the kitchen in the pen, but that's about it.

Chicks should have feed available 24/7, if not they could start to eat feathers off their cage mates.

I don't feed potatoes or raw onions but other than that if it's scraped off a plate after a meal it goes to the birds. They are the best at turning table scraps into tomorrows yummy breakfast! I keep a clean dog bowl in the kitchen just for the birds treats. If you clean out the fridge and things aren't moldy or off your birds will love these leftovers too.

Limiting food should only be done if birds are overly fat and under a watchful eye. Chicks don't usually have this problem unless you are raising meat birds from my limited knowledge, but others will advise you if you list the breeds of birds you raise.

I have feed avalible for my baby's 24/7 for the first 4 months ...

You need Flock raiser for a mixed flock and a hard boiled egg for the niacin as the ducklings really need this ...

And a bath to clean up the oil's .....
