That's rare. Most feed stores have chicks Jan-May/June. Some will have them until August. There was a feed store in our area that had chicks year-around, but they went out of business![]()

Probably. Chicks in the winter aren't too bad here in the puget sound over the winter. I've done it before. It's the rest of the country that can't have them. I mean, in the east coast, for example, they get several feet of snow every year...could you imagine raising chicks in that kind of weather?I know here where I live in South Florida, we get them all year long. I guess it's a regional thing? Most likely because it's always warm here!
