Hazel is feeling puny today. I noticed she put herself to bed early last night and didn't get down for treats but took them when I offered directly to her on the roost. Today she came out and is resting out of the way. Her comb is pale.
Back story. She is 2 years old and lays an egg about every two weeks if that. The was a favorite of two roosters that fought over her until we regimes 1 and remained the favorite of the other. She was then attacked and bitten by a raccoon last year that also killed the rooster. She healed well but shes been living happy, active, and
pretty much rent free since.
Any suggestions?

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
