Feeling very sorry for my broody hen on day 31

I'm happy to say that 4 of them hatched their eggs. 2 of them had 2 eggs and 2 of them had 1 egg. I do feel bad for the 5th hen. Her one egg spoiled but I did find 2 eggs under the other 4 that we laid by other hens while they got up to drink and eat. So I gave them to the 5th hen. Hopefully she will stay on them long enough to hatch since her 21 days are over.

Yikes, that'd be another three weeks... Would you consider getting a few chicks for her?

That was my initial thought was to find some day old chicks but no one had any. The eggs I gave her were already developing so it shouldn't be a whole 3 weeks.

That's good! I had actually posted on Craigslist that I was looking for newly-hatched chicks, and I did get several replies. Could work for you, if nothing else does. Good luck!

Thanks, but I think she's already getting over it. She was with her roo most of the day, but on her eggs at night. I guess time will tell.
