Most feed stores this time of year carry chicks. If you are only wanting layers, then make sure you are puchasing chicks from a pullet only bin and not a straight run bin where you can get roosters. You can also get chicks online from hatcheries such as My Pet Chicken, Chickens For Back Yards, Murray McMurray, Ideal, etc....
