Female Crowing

I have a 3 month old...should be pullet...this morning I let my lab out and she crowed?! Anyone else heard of a female crowing. I've heard it once before and it was again with the dog being out-tell me its a warning call of some sort and she isn't a HE! Thanks!

She is very sweet, my kids and I pet her. Like I said, I've only heard this one other time when the dog came out and startled them. I'm heartbroken if she is a Roo...we can't have them in town.

Enlarged comb and wattles, and male specific feathering - pointy hackle and saddle feathers, mahogany wing coverlets all scream 'male'.
