I’m fairly new to ducks. I have two females and one male. One of my females belly is lower to the ground than normal. (Her belly has always been a little bit lower than the other female, but not this much) She still eats, drinks and walks around. However she does waddle more and it looks like she can’t walk as fast.
I’ve tried looking up what it could be and there isn’t much out there to help me.

Might you post photographs to give us a better idea of the issue?

I don’t be know with ascites there is fluid in the belly and feels like a water balloon. If she’s eating and acting normal otherwise I’d just watch her. Only other option I can think of would be a vet examine

She still walks around and follows the other two ducks. She also eats and drinks.

When my ducks are laying their bellies just about drag the ground even my Runners. It maybe typical for many breeds to keep that pouch even when not laying especially as they get older. Look up pictures of ducks with ascites it’s def something you’d notice.
