yesterday i posted that I had a problem duck , she ? is 4 weeks old and she is pulling the wing feathers out of the other ducks and they r bleeding pretty bad.
so yesterday I made a separate part to keep her in - with chicken wir-e to keep her from doing this to the other ducks, today i left her out when itook out their treats and she started in again right away so I quickly put her right back into to solitary confinement... does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do or why she is doing this , she is a 4 week old mallard female i have 1 male with 5 other females all mallards and i have 2 pekins- 1 male and 1 female and she is doing this to them also I also have 6 chickens that they are all with and she doesnt do this to the chickens it is just the ducks- what is going on with her. I cant have her doing this to my ducks they are bleeding very badly from her doing this... ant suggestions please?????? they are getting greens everyday and are on a good quality food and I wouls assume that they would all be doing this ( the ducks ) if it were some sort of food problem... what else can it be?
