Female Geese and Blue Eyes?

very pretty geese. Given the obvious knob on the top of the bill the new goose has chinese or african in it.

That is what I was thinking. She/He also has the beginnings of the dewlap.

I bought a new embden a couple of months ago. She's not quite 2. The lady I purchased her from had 3. 2 females and a male, all white...they all have blue eyes. They are very pretty birds.

I thought I seen a knob on the new gooses nose! It has to have either chinese or african in it. But very pretty coloring....

I definitely missed the knob when I first looked at pictures and x2 on it having African or Chinese in it. I definitely agree the coloring is beautiful and a cross with a white. JenC and I are experimenting with crossing brown/white Africans this spring to see what kind of colors it will produce on offspring. We are both hoping to get that really pretty blue color.

I get that she/he has African or Chinese. I was curious about gender. I guess I won't know until she/he turns year. By the way, this goose was hatched by a chicken. xD
