Female kitten marking

We have one that pees in the laundry pile, whether it be dirty or clean. I can't set a laundry basket full of clean clothes down or she will get right in there and pee. She is 8 years old, I got her when she was about 8 weeks old. She was spayed at 6 months old and at about a year she started the peeing. We've tried everything to try to get her to stop, but it is just something she does. So we got a tall hamper and we have to use that now, but everyone here knows that if you throw your clothes on the floor, they will get peed on!

My cat Pixel was a tiny kitten when I found her. She was spayed at 6 months and lived to be 21. Beautiful calico cat, strong and bold. And she sprayed every single day, though not in the house!

Bec, I have a laundry cat too.

Have to keep the closet door latched or he gets in there and hoses it all down.

I have a couple cats that will do the laundry too! It's as if they compete to spread their scent..yes they are fixed. And yes, they will pee on clothes piled on the floor.
My DH drives me nuts, knowing they will do this, he still piles his clothes on the floor, instead of putting them in the basket that is located in the closet!

Please post her picture for me, I love cats even when they do bad things

My cat did that for few times and I got some kind of spray from the vet to try it, I think I am going to look onlinefor such products, because the one I got from my vet worke for a short period of time only.

I have to keep all the bedroom doors shut and my female cat out of them because she does the same thing. She's 8 years old now and still does it if she can get in the bedrooms. I can let her sleep in my bed with my husband and other cats as long as I boot her out in the morning.

eta: I have only had female cats do this. she is spay and has been since she could be.

Once it starts, it's never going to stop. We had two females and they started marking/peeing behind the sofa, even after we removed one from the situation (found her a new home) the other kept doing it and at that point I had put down new carpet so she had to go as well.
