Years ago I had a small flock of Muscovy Ducks. The Hen hatched out about 8 ducklings and they eventually could fly. They would fly quite a ways away and I would have to go and gather them back up. I had clipped their wings but they still flew. It was later in life that I read that you only clip one wing to make them unbalanced and then they won't be able to fly away. I have since done this with my Mallards and Call Ducks and they go no where now. Maybe this might help with yours I hope. They can still walk just fine and it does not bother their balance in any other way.

I have successfully used this method and infographic to clip my Daffy's wings (Muscovy hen) when she was 3 months old and worked beautifully!
