Hi does anyone know if this is a female or male? My daughter rescued a female bunny from the shelter and decided to bring home a 9 week old holland lop and she said the guy originally told her it was a female. But went to pick it up and then told her he wasn’t sure. Yes, you would think she would have said no thank you! My daughter is 19 and doesn’t think! Now I need to figure out is it a female or male and what to do!
If I had to guess I would think it’s a male!

Oh goodness. That little one is cute. The photos are kinda blurry and I was never the best at babies. I would consider it male to be safe and try again with pictures in a couple weekz

Super cute!
I can't quite tell, but I'm leaning female. @JacinLarkwell?

How's s/he settling in?
i wasn’t sure because the rabbits on line were bigger we have never had a rabbit. I’m hoping it’s a female. Lol. She is settling in okay, she was handled a lot. So she good being held. She is going to try to introduce her to her other rabbit today and see how it goes. I am hoping her rescued rabbit which is a female takes to her.

Yeah, I figured I’d take some pictures in couple weeks. I tried to tall my daughter into returning it and making sure it’s a female. But my daughter loves it so she said if she has to she will get it fixed.

It helps to get both rabbits fixed before bonding the two, since hormones may make them territorial or aggressive.
If it does turn out the be male, it's more likely to get along with the female. Two females can sometime fight. It all depends on the individual though.
Good luck!

Those ones are probably mature. It's way easier once they start going through their puberty. Unfortunately baby boys and baby girls look really similar when they're little

I tell my daughter. I’m sure since someone turned Lola into the shelter she is that is 9 months old she isn’t fixed but I’ll let my daughter know she needs to take them both in to vet. The joys of a 19 year old brining home pets. Problem is she knows I love animals and she had me when she said she adopted from shelter. Lol
