I have a three year old female Pekin whose vent area has been retaining poop and remaining dirty despite swim time and my cleaning it and it gets clumpy it also feels mushy. I sent pics off to vet she says not a prolapse from her experience but is not sure what maybe going on. I am thinking yeast. I have 5 females so this is not something I want spreading through the flock things are cleaned with oxine, or that chlorahexadine and bedding always switched out nightly. appetite seems good, she needs to molt since she never has, and I do give probiotics in their night drinking water. feed is Purina duck food, with peas and meal worms. but this girls behind has me bugged. aside from washing her off one day I put mineral oil back there just to keep the stool from clinging to her vent and being drawn back in. That didn't work. I have been spraying with vetricyn and that is not working so well either. bottom is still gross. I do have the powder form of nystatin aka medistatin for pigeons and parrots but the dosage is confusing since it does not pertain to ducks and is not in math equations I am familiar with. Anyone have any ideas what this may be what the dose would be in grams if it is yeast. Photo was taken post bath.

It is difficult to see what exactly is going on there - any chance you can get more pictures with the area wetted down more?

I can try when I bring her in for her bath. the dark stuff you see is poop that she pulls back in and the small things are feathers she had a white liquid present around the opening.

More pictures would be good.

I would skip the Vetericyn, and take some of the Chlorexdine you have, dilute it down with water per the directions on the back, and give her cloaca a good lavage using either a large syringe or a soap bottle. Afterwards, wipe, or scrub the area, rinse again, and apply an antibacterial ointment such as Neosporin. To fix any imbalance of gut flora, you can start her on an avian probiotic for a few days. Hopefully, that will take care of things.
