Female pigeon breeding male?

This may sound weird, but my female breeds my male? I know the sex of them. Is this normal?

It is not unusual at all for hen pigeons to "top" their mates. Variety is the spice of life even for pigeons.

i tripped out when i saw my pair take turns on eachother... then, i never saw any eggs... then i realized that the lahore marched around like a male... so now i have a surrogate pair of homosexual daddies... right now they're sitting on an egyptian swift egg and a bob white egg... LOL... i hope they don't mind...
