Hello
I'm hoping someone could give advice on why my 2 female runner ducks have started fighting. I have 3 females & 1 male runner ducks. We hatched them ourselves and they have lived happily together for 4 years until last weekend when 2 of the female started fighting. It's very sudden and upsetting to see. They both still get along fine with the remaining female & male. One of the females is molting and she is the one that started the fighting. She came off worse the other day and with all the pushing and shoving they did, she could hardly stand up (she is ok now they've been kept away from each other). I don't know what to do and wonder if it will calm down although its been 5 days. It must be distressing for the other two. I have sectioned the coop 2 in one side & 2 in the other with a piece of chicken wire between and they're still trying to fight. I would be very grateful if anyone could help. I can't bare the thought of rehoming any of them : ( Thank you
