check it's legs where the spurs are if you feel a sort of nub there where its coming out it's a rooster but from that pic it looks like a rooster have you seen it mating are dancing around the other hens
 
Pullets/hens will get spurs, also. This is not a way to tell between male/female in chickens. I have a young pullet right now, lays eggs daily, that is growing a fine set of spurs :)

all chicks/chickens have those spur buds and some pullets/hens even grow some nice spurs
 
We haven't seen any dancing/mating behavior, but my husband saw one of the hens react to the crow. She stood on one foot and lifted a wing.
