Female with unfertilized nest.

Hi! I am wondering what I should do for my Mallard who made a nest but had no mate. We left her to sit on it for now but we know it's not going to happen. How should we deal with this situation? She is so dedicated, sigh!!

When she leaves the nest, take all the eggs and destroy the nest.......She will possibly snap out of it.......I just destroyed one of my Ducks nests......Her eggs are fertile but I already have to many Ducklings Due to hatch and another Hen setting eggs...She now waddles around with my Drake again.......

I took away her sterile eggs and got some fertile ones and did a swap. She seems fine... I hope it works out!
